Meet Our Team of Proffessionals

Lillian is the founder and Executive Director of Palma Memorial Hope Center (PMHC). She is a Researcher in the Public/Maternal/Reproductive Health area. She is an Advocate in Gender, Humanitarian & Development Work. She is a Holder of MSc. Management, BSc. Accounting & Finance, PGDPPM, and DIP. Business Administration, ACCA (II).

She brings to the Hope Center over 20 years of experience in Leadership, Management/Administration, Programming, Advocacy, Partnerships & Networking, and Monitoring & Evaluation. Formerly a civil servant of Ugandan government, staff and later consultant of USAID and UNHCR Projects, her wide experience of managing partnerships and collaborations is an added advantage to PMHC.

She is very passionate about equality and social–economic Well-being of Women & Girls, and Environmental Conservation. ‘’I always desired to serve God better among the most vulnerable communities and I am able to experience that with the Birth of PMHC. I believe strongly it is a special call from God to serve among the Country’s most Vulnerable, highly at risk adolescent Girls’’.

Fred Cemakuru Yogason

Program Manager


Responsible for Strategy and Business Development, Fred is tasked with the development of winning strategies that contribute to the growth and scale-up of programs, increase resources mobilized and influence the future of Palma Memorial Hope Center (PMHC)’s partner ecosystem in a way that compliments the overall Vision. He is currently pursuing Ph.D. studies as he holds MSc. Management Studies (Project Planning & Management). He has a Bachelors’ Degree in Social Work and Social Administration. He also has several certificates in Conflict Resolution and Peace Building and Gender & Women Studies. He strongly believes in critical community engagement and joined efforts by all stakeholders to addressing development challenges.

Martin Unzama

Finance and Administration Manager


With his expertise and rich experience in finance and administration, Martin is a great asset to the organization. He has been able to develop finance & human resource management tools, he has cultivated the culture of financial discipline, ICT, & knowledge. He is highly motivated by his original liking for numbers and ensures proper accountability and documentation of all financial transactions. He holds Master’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting), Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Uganda Martyrs University. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Working with limited resources yet achieving great impact for PMHC.

Wadribo Geofrey

Project Coordinator


Geofrey coordinates all the projects at the Hope Center and ensures trainings are well structured. He is the linkage between the various departments but also ensures the programming machinery is functional at all times. He is currently perusing Bachelor’s Degree in Education and he has higher Diploma in Education. He has certificate in career guidance and counseling. He is strong advocate for the rights of grassroots boys and girls.

Rev. Fr. Jungeyu Robert Denis

Hope Center Chaplain-Spiritual Adviser


Fr. Robert brings to the Hope Center over 9 years of experience in spiritual life growth, Counselling and Guidance. He is a great friend of young people and the Christian community where the Hope Center is located. He holds Bachelor of Arts’ (BA) in Philosophy and Diploma in Social Sciences from St. Thomas Aquinas’ National Major Seminary, Katigondo, Masaka – Uganda. He achieved Religious Formation that is, Novitiate: In the Generalate of the Missionaries of Jesus the Divine Master, Arua – Uganda. He has ‘Bachelor of Arts’ (BA) in Sacred Theology from St. Mary’s National Major Seminary, Ggaba, Kampala – Uganda.

Scovia Mungucia

Partnership, Collaborations and Advocacy Officer


Scovia is an advocate for human rights and youth empowerment. With a clear background in Human rights, Social Science, and Public Administration, plus Corporate Communication, Scovia’s current role is to grow and deliver high-quality corporate partnerships for PMHC. She works hard to deliver unique ways for our partners to engage with young Adolescent Girls and Boys. She is a holder of Masters in Human Rights and she has a Bachelors’ Degree in Social Science and Public Administration, Makerere University and Uganda Martyrs University respectively.

Candiru Mary

Project Officer responsible for Community Mobilization & Psychosocial Services


She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education-Guidance and Counseling from Kyambogo University. Maria is a team player and effectively uses her skills to promote psychosocial support through counseling as one key component of social rehabilitation. Teacher Mary is a real friend in need for the girl child and she is liked by the students to the extend they have nick named her Mother Mary.

Ayikoru Freda

Office Administrator


Freda the office admin ensures the well-being of the team and keeps the office in one piece. Her hard work practically helps the office run smoothly. She doubles as Trainer for Saloon and Tailoring given her additional knowledge and skills coupled with passion in Hair dressing, fashion & design, and beauty management. Her biggest motivation is the natural Love and Care she has for young people and the enthusiasm to see others succeed in life.

Denis Nino

Environmental Consultant


He is a Consultant and so passionate about Environmental Conservation through tree planting. Denis Holds a Msc Integrated watershed management. He is also a consultant in hydrological and environmental modeling, research, riparian restorations, and conservation of fragile ecological formations.

Sr. Josephine Avako

Center Nurse


Josephine is a registered Nurse/Midwife (double trained) she brings to the Hope Center over 30 years of experience in Medical work, Counseling and Guidance. She is an immediate buddy of the adolescent girls. She is not only soft spoken but supports the girls to understand their health and check out risk behaviors that could affect their restored hope and dignity.

Our Board of Governors

Anguerini Wilson is the Interim chairperson for Palma Memorial Hope Center Governance Board. Outside the board, Anguerini serves as a Project coordinator for Hummingbird action for peace and Development, formerly he was the Principal of Mikese institute of management yambio-South Sudan. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Accounting), and Diploma in Business Education. He believes in Good Governance and Accountability.

Rozet Obizuyo

Board Member


Rozet is one active member of PMHC and show the center grow right from inception. She is a Successful Business Woman and holder of Higher Diploma in Saloon-Hair dressing, Beauty, fashion and design management, Catering and Home economics.

Patrick Olweny

Board Member


Patrick is one Board member who has seen the Hope Center grow right from Inception and is very passionate about the future of the youth who are empowered at PMHC. He is a great Musician and speaks several languages including French. He believes in Music, Dance and Drama as a healing therapy for the traumatized young girls and boys. He is currently teaching music and psychology at Riviera high school Cambridge section-Rwanda. He holds a Diploma in Philosophy.

Janet Obiru Gomesi

Adviser and a Close Friend of the Hope Center


She is among the well-wishers of PMHC and show the Hope Center grow from inception. She is a Social worker and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science. She lives in Lisbon Portugal.

Onesmus Dralega

Consultant in Education


Onesmus is a holder of Master’s degree in Education, a Researcher with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Formerly a Program Manager with UPHOLD-JSI/USAID Funded Project. He later worked for ACROSS as Education Manager. He is one of those Brains behind the initiative of Palma Memorial Hope Center to address the plight of the most Vulnerable adolescent Girls and Boys.
